At the Heidelberg and Bremen locations, we develop our SAP-integrated solutions for transport planning and cargo space optimization - a complex product with a hybrid software architecture in the SAP environment, based on ABAP, C#, TypeScript and web technologies.

For our Heidelberg office, to start at the earliest possible date, we are looking for a

Software Developer*

Your tasks:

• Participation in the design and implementation of our new planning applications with a focus on ABAP RESTful Programming Model, CDS, UI5, JavaScript and ABAP
• Maintenance of solutions on the market
• Further development of the team and the working environment

Your task is to create the successors of our existing applications together with a small team of highly motivated colleagues, to find solutions for a wide range of problems while maintaining the balance between new world (with many cloud/web technologies) and existing functions (most of them in SAP ABAP).

Your profile:

• A completed degree, ideally in a technical subject such as computer science/information technology
• Development and project experience (completed projects)
• Minimum basic knowledge of web development and openness to SAP (or experienced in SAP and openness to web development)
• Analytical competence and interest in the technical feasibility of solutions as well as process-oriented working
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Strong communication skills, team player
• The willingness to accept things as they are without despairing
